I am a native of Montgomery County and have lived here my entire life except for a brief stint in College Park while attending the University of Maryland.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in Consumer Economics.   I am married and have three children, two in college and one in high school.  I home schooled all my children during various stages and taught K-12th grades over a span of 9 years.  I worked as a copy editor for 8 years and am presently working as a cook at my church.  I love to cook, read, sing, and spend time with my family, who thankfully all live close by.
