Winter Weather Advisory Brings Hope of White Christmas

Some parts of Montgomery County may see up to 2 inches of snow.

Will Montgomery County have a white Christmas? It's possible, at least in some areas of the county, according to the National Weather Service. A winter weather advisory is in effect for Montgomery County until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Sleet and snow are expected to fall over the county during the afternoon of Dec. 24, with a possible accumulation of 1 to 2 inches, according to the National Weather Service. Sleet and snow are most likely to fall in the northern part of the county. The National Weather Service issues winter weather advisories "when frozen precipitation is expected which may impact travel. Travel during this evening may become hazardous. Caution should be used during any travel," according to a Montgomery County email alert …
