Tynan Closes, Leaving 2 Storefronts Vacant on Wisconsin Place Plaza
The neighboring Friendship Heights storefronts that used to house Tynan Coffee and Tea and clothing boutique Adolfo Dominguez are both vacant, leaving the south side of the Wisconsin Place plaza looking a little lifeless.
Friendship Heights is down another business: Tynan Coffee and Tea, which anchored the southern arm of the plaza at The Shops at Wisconsin Place. Now, that part of the plaza seems a little desolate, with all of Tynan's outdoor chairs and tables cleared away, and the tall windows of the corner storefront dark. Your Chevy Chase Patch editor enjoyed sitting at the tables behind the windows, clacking away on the computer while looking up to check on Chevy Chase (and admiring the parade of well-dressed pups passing by). The coffee, tea and sandwich shop was closed by last Friday.
