Politicians are amazing, that they can set such a ridiculously low income as the "povertyRead More level" just to keep the statistics looking better. Plus the fact that those low incomes are legally kept low by the "job creators." It seems that a lot of slaves may have lived better lives than the current working poor!

Great work, Marc and Mary! You are doing the community a wonderful service. Not only does TNR helpRead More individual cats live a better life, but it also helps the local animal shelters have to take in more cats, plus probably euthanize them, as feral cats are usually not adoptable.Anyway,Alley Cat Rescue is Mount Rainier, salutes you!

ANOTHER 9/11 memorial? Why? There is one being built in NY, there will be 1 in Shanksville Pa, thereRead More is 1 in Pentagon. Come on! And then KVFD will wonder why cars dont fill the boot when out on CT ave.

I would first like to take this opportunity to applaud the KVFD for their dedication, hardwork,Read More service to our community. The KVFD prides itself on the commitment, education and training of it's membership with that being said I don't think there can ever be enough memorials dedicated to one of our histories most tragic events, where thousands lost their lives, family members lost loved ones and the fire service lost close to 350 men and women. I await a time in June when I can go to the memorial and reflect and pay my respect to all of those who have gone before us. For the record I'll add that the KVFD hasn't filled a boot on Connecticut Ave since 09-12-01 when we raised 40,000 for the wives and children of the 9-11 disaster. Way to go KVFD and god bless...
