Today is National Running Day. Despite the 100 degree weather, grab a pair of sneakers (and some water) and get out for a light jog.
Don't know where to go? Well here are some running routes in Bethesda and Silver Spring, courtesy of Run the Planet. Or try the Capital Crescent Trail, which spans 11 miles from Silver Spring through Chevy Chase and Bethesda to Georgetown, in Washington, D.C. Wheaton Regional Park has 4-miles of trails.
If the trails seem a little too much, just take a leisurely stroll through your neighborhood.
