Nation Trails Day Event

There is a 10km trail with a 5km option; both are rated 1 A.  Both trails are on sidewalks and asphalt paths on the Green Trail and the Sligo Creek Trail.  The trails are accessible to both wheelchairs and strollers.  Pets are not allowed in retail stores but can be taken on the walks if leashed.  The walk is free unless Volksmarchers want to register for IVV credit, for which there is a charge of $3.  Restrooms are available at the Start/Finish point and at the Washington Adventist Hospital.
