The 17th annual Kensington 8k, 2 Mile Challenge and 1k Fun Run will take place on September 25. The 8k covers terrain including hills and flat land. Families are encouraged to participate in the 2 mile and 1k fun runs, as they are non-competitive. Proceeds from the races will support Kensington Parkwood Elementary, North Bethesda Middle School and Walter Johnson High School.
