Staff Take on Students at Newport Mill's Annual Basketball Game

It was the generation gap on the courts once again Friday night, at Newport Mill Middle School's annual Staff versus Students basketball game.  At the end of the night the staff was victorious, much to the chagrin of students.  But everyone agreed that the real heroes of the night were members of the , which recently completed an undefeated season for the first time in school history.  The girls were congratulated for their feat during the game, and at halftime were presented with a commerative banner to be displayed on the gym wall for perpetuity.  Check out Patch's scenes from the game and halftime festivities.
