Sixth Middle School Meeting Today

Today, at noon, Montgomery County Public Schools will host its  on the proposed middle school on Rock Creek Hills Park.

The meeting, in the choral room, is the last feasibility forum before MCPS presents a preferred layout to the community on Sept. 8.

Last week, MCPS responded to public complaints by size of the school in order to preserve trees and green space on the park. However, many residents are still concerned with how a new school may disrupt traffic in the neighborhood, and some maintain that the site is too small to house a quality school.
