Is MCPS's Special Education Adequate?
Gazette letter-writer says school system is partially to blame for murder-suicide.

Potomac resident Jennifer Smith Salaj wrote in a letter to The Gazette that, as the parent of a special-needs child, she understands Jensvold's stress.

"While I don't condone what she did and can't imagine myself ever doing that, I can understand how it got to that point," Salaj wrote. "I too have a son on the autism spectrum and had to spend my days and nights fighting with MCPS.... I too used to be consumed with fear about my son's future, so I understand the fear and anxiety that was gripping this poor woman."
