Free Preserving Local History Class at the Washington DC Family History Center

Description

Learn how you can take an active role in preserving the history of the communities where you or your ancestors lived. The class is taught by Marion Woodfork Simmons, a family and community historian and author of  Memories of Union High:  An Oasis in Caroline County, Virginia 1903-1969.  She will use her experience with the Union High History Project to provide tools, tips and resources to empower ordinary people to research, document and preserve local history.
