Kensington Park Elementary seeks to help kids feel secure after Connecticut shootings.

 

Channel News Asia interviewed leaders at Kensington Park Elementary in Kensington about what actions they were taking in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.

In an online article dated three days after the shooting, the site said parents and teachers are intent on keeping a "protective bubble" of safety for their kids at school.

"Today is a usual day," school principal Barbara Liess was quoted as saying. "Routine is one thing that's important for kids. That's how you build trust, that's how you build a sense of comfort."
