THANKSGIVING-A PERSONAL REFLECTION

This is a sharing from my heart of the love I have for this town and its residents. God bless us; everyone!

For  many  years,  Thanksgiving  has  been  spent

    around  a  very  bountiful  table;  at  my  parents  home,

my  own  house  with  my  late  wife  Alberta  or  now most  recently

     with  my  friends  in  Waynesboro, Pa.  It  is  not  about  the  food

which  I  partake  of;  rather,  drawing  together  in  fellowship,  love

      for  one  another  and  a  bond  much  deeper,  stronger  and
giving  thanks  for  every  blessing  which  my  Creator  and  Lord

      has  graciously  bestowed  upon  me.  As  I  share  with  others

my  heart,  spirit,  laughter  and  love  I  am  also  mindful  of  reaching  out

       and  giving  of  what  God  has  given  me  to  bring  to  the

folks  who  might  be  lacking  in  one  way  or  another.  As  this  season

       of  warmth  and  caring  wraps  around  us  again  this  year  I  reach

my  soul,  spirit,  love  and  life  forward  to  those  in  an  extended  community

        and  say  in  whole  hearted  love;  God  cares  deeply  about  you;

so  do  I!
