Your State Delegation Wants To Hear From You

District 18 residents invited to tonight's town hall meeting.

The Maryland General Assembly adjourned April 12, but District 18's delegation wants to hear your questions, concerns and comments on what happened in the last session.

Tonight, at the in Chevy Chase, Sen. Rich Madaleno and delegates Al Carr, Ana Sol Gutiérrez and Jeff Waldstreicher will host a .

The delegation will first provide a wrap-up of the 2011 legislative session. Each of them will speak on behalf of their respective legislative committees: Carr on the environmental committee, Waldstreicher on the judiciary, Gutiérrez on management of public funds and Madaleno on appropriations.

After these brief addresses, the delegation will take questions from the audience, which Waldstreicher said is the main point of the town hall.

"Hearing from constituents is the best part of my job," he said. "I get great ideas for legislation, and I'm able to solve constituent services issues at the same time."
