Voting Guide: Election Day Polling Places In Kensington

Locations: In Kensington, although in the past everyone has voted at the Kensington Armory,

Residents who live north of the tracks will continue to vote at the Armory, while residents south of the tracks will now be voting at on Connecticut Avenue.

Polling Hours: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Get there early! According to Marjorie Roher of the Montgomery County Board of Elections: “We always encourage people if they can go later in the day to do so, because they might be waiting in a line."

Montgomery County used to see an after-work/dinner rush to the polls but in recent elections that time block has seen a quieter turnout, Roher said. “Really we have a morning rush and then a few little peaks throughout the day.”
