Questions about Obamacare? Montgomery County Forums Planned

Find out how the Affordable Care Act might affect Montgomery County.

Wondering how Maryland’s health care exchange will work? Montgomery County is hosting a series of question-and-answer sessions this month to inform residents about provisions within the Affordable Care Act—more popularly known as Obamacare—an overhaul of public and private insurance, that may affect them.

Under Obama’s health care reform initiative, states are required to set up exchanges for residents to purchase health care. Maryland’s exchange will be called Maryland Health Connection.
