Zoning Amendment 12-06
The council will reconsider its position on county zoning amendment 12-06, which, according to County Planner Jeff Zyontz, changes the way business can use their proximity to the MARC train station. Two weeks ago, . Some concern was raised by Councilmember Mackie Barch that the change would make it more expensive for developers to build in Kensington while Councilmember Lydia Sullivan said she felt the zoning amendment was just a correction to what the committee initially supported. There is a public hearing on the amendment scheduled in Rockville on Tuesday.
