Kensington Makes Its Way to Facebook, YouTube

New pages are designed to show off town's businesses and character.

The Town of Kensington has found some new avenues to promote its shops, events and restaurants: a Facebook page and a YouTube channel.

The two sites were created by public relations firm Maier & Warner, as part of the company's $39,000-per-year contract with the town.

Kris Warner, the firm's co-owner, told the Gazette that the two pages are designed to show off all Kensington has to offer, including the weekly farmer's market and the monthly Third Thursday event.
