Bob Spence reflects on his childhood that led him to become a firefighter.

A lifetime member of the Kensington Fire Company, was featured in a story in The Herald about his love of his career.

Bob Spence said his experiences growing up in Hagerstown, Md. watching local firefighters fill their trucks with water from the community's hydrants intrigued him.
