Franchot to Hold Online Tax Chat

Have you done your taxes yet?

If you haven't done your taxes yet and have questions about the process, you can get answers from Maryland's top financial auditor, Comptroller Peter Franchot.

The tax deadline is April 17 and Franchot will be chatting live online on April 2 from noon to 1 p.m. Residents can also submit questions ahead of time.

Franchot will be joined by his staff to talk about tax laws, allowable exemptions, earned income credit and the state of Maryland’s economy.
