As economic development takes center stage at the White House next week, Montgomery County Councilmember Nancy Floreen (D-At large) will join the discussion.
White House officials want to share best practices between officials with regional development organization leaders and county officials.
Floreen, who chairs the planning, housing and economic development committee, will bring her expertise to “Building Blocks for Economic Development and Job Growth” on Wednesday, Sept. 19.
“We need all hands on deck to move our economic development agenda forward,” Councilmember Floreen said. “Federal, state and local governments must work together, and I’m glad to have been invited to be a part of these important conversations.”
