Budget Among Town Hall Agenda Topics

The town council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. to hold a public hearing on the fiscal year 2012 budget ordinance. The fiscal year for Kensington runs from July 1 to June 30 of the following year.

Those interested in attending this evening's meeting are invited to view the proposed budget, the budget ordinace, a letter from the town manager and a chart of accounts on the town's website.

In addition to the public hearing, the council will motion to approve Resolution R-06-2011, in support of the revised Sector Plan. The mayor and town council wrote a letter to the planning board on April 18, expressing continued support for the Kensington Sector Plan.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the council chambers in the Armory.
