Berliner Starts Kensington Tenure
Wednesday is the county council president's first day representing the town.
Thanks to county redistricting, Kensington is part of District 1 as of Wednesday, and County Council President Roger Berliner is now the town's representative.

"I'm optimistic we'll be able to work our way through and hopefully bring the community back together again," Berliner has said of the plan. "I am a search-for-common-ground guy."
The county council is expected to issue a final vote on the plan at its March 20 meeting.
