Report: Kensington Road Sign Set to 'Smoke Weed Everyday'

An electronic sign board on Kensington Parkway was hacked Wednesday morning.

If you were not up and on the road by about 9 a.m. today, you missed it. WUSA9 reported that a Montgomery County-owned electronic sign board in Kensington had been hacked to read "Smoke Weed Everyday," instead of what it should have said, something like "Slow Down," or "Buckle Up."

The television station reported that Montgomery County police had redacted the message on the sign, set aside on Kensington Parkway, and were investigating how it got hacked.

See a screenshot of WUSA9's website with the sign above. Head to their site to see the actual photo.

Have any idea how this sign got that way? Has it been hacked before? Tell the police, then tell us.
