Police Report Burglaries in Kensington

Here's the blotter for Dec. 12-20.

Montgomery County Police released a recent crime summary for Dec. 12 through Dec. 20, which included some residential burglaries and a theft from a vehicle.

  • Dec. 17: A residential burglary occurred on the 3600 block of Decatur Avenue overnight. Burglars used unforced entry and left with no property.
  • Dec. 19: Burglars broke into a house on the 9700 block of Parkwood Drive in the afternoon, and nothing was taken.
  • Dec. 19: There was a break-in on the 1100 block of Harriet Lane at about 5:30 p.m., and burglars took nothing.
  • Dec. 20: Two thefts-from-vehicles occurred on the 3900 block of Wexwood Drive and the 3800 block of Lawrence Avenue, in which thieves targeted unlocked cars and made off with a GPS unit and a pair of sunglasses.
