Police Blotter: April 25 to May 3

Police released recent crime information on May 12.

Montgomery County Police released a recent crime summary for the week of April 25 through May 3, which included multiple thefts from vehicles and an act of vandalism.

May 2 to May 3: Several acts of vandalism occurred on Fayette Road and Drumm Avenue in South Kensington sometime over night from Monday, May 2 through Tuesday, May 3. Police responded to several reports of slashed vehicle tires.

Police announced that multiple thefts from vehicles occurred in the Silver Spring/Kensington beat. Unlocked vehicles parked along residential streets were the primary target during over night hours. Police reported that GPS units, cash and other loose items were taken from inside the vehicles.

April 28 to April 29: Vehicles on Clearwater Lane, Westbrook Lane and Thornwood Road were entered overnight from Thursday, April 28 through Friday, April 29.

April 27 to April 28: A vehicle on Drumm Avenue was entered over night.

April 25: Between 12:05 and 7 a.m., two vehicles on Hill Street and one on Covington Road were burgled.
