Missing Kensington Woman Located

Hannah Upp, 28, has been reported missing before, Montgomery County police said.

Update, Sept. 5: Police said that Hannah Upp made contact with her family around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday night. She was located in Wheaton near Georgia Avenue and Shorefield Road. 

Police are still asking for tips from anyone who may have seen her yesterday. Contact 4th District detectives at 240-773-5530.

Original story, Sept. 4: A 28-year-old Kensington resident hasn't contacted her family since early Wednesday morning, Montgomery County police report, and they are concerned.

Hannah Upp, 28, of the 3000 block of Upton Drive, was last seen Sept. 3 around 7:45 a.m. near Kemp Mill Road and Glenallan Avenue, police report. Some of Upp's things were found near on a foot path near Wheaton Plaza.

Upp is described as a white female, about 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Upp was last seen wearing a black shirt and brown pants, according to police.

Upp's family is worried because she's been missing before, police said, and when she was found the last time she needed medical attention. Since her things were found in Wheaton, Upp may not have identification with her.
