Kensington Crime: Two Burglaries, Assault Reported

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. The mention of arrests or charges does not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County Police reported the following criminal activity from April 3 through April 10 in Kensington:

  • An aggravated assault occurred in the 4100 block of Plyers Mill Road on April 8 at 10:15 p.m.  The suspect and victim knew one another according to police. A 21-year-old Kensington woman was arrested for assault. 
  • A commercial burglary occurred at Rock Spring Contracting, 3925 Plyers Mill Road sometime overnight on April 5. Police reported that suspects broke in and took property. 
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 9500 block of East Standhope Road on April 7 between 2:10 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Police reported that suspects broke in, however nothing was reported stolen.
