Kensington Crime: Burglary Reported at Kensington Parkwood Elementary

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. The mention of arrests or charges does not indicate a conviction.

The following criminal incidents were reported to Montgomery County police between April 9 and April 17 in Kensington and White Flint.

  • An attempted burglary was reported at on Sunday, April 15 around 4:00 a.m.  Although suspects broke into the school, nothing was reported stolen.
  • Residents reported a buglary in the 11300 block of Connecticut Avenue in Kensington overnight on April 15. Although suspects broke into the home, nothing was reported stolen. 
  • Police reported two thefts from vehicles overnight on April 9. GPS units were stole from two vehicles in the 10300 block of Drumm Avenue and in the 3200 block of Fayette Road.  The vehicles were unlocked.
  • A commercial burglary was reported at Mirage Nails, 11540 Rockville Pike in White Flint overnight from on April 11.  Suspects broke in and stole items.
