They'll scale Montgomery County's tallest building four times Saturday to match the height of the World Trade Center.

Tomorrow, more than 50 Montgomery County firefighters will in North Bethesda to commemorate the first-responders who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

"I'd heard of other stair climbs around the country that other firefighters do, and I thought it fitting to do something locally to honor the 343 firefighter lives lost in New York on 9/11, almost a decade ago," Monahan said in a news release.

The event is also a fundraiser for the International Association of Fire Fighters' Burn Foundation, which will accept donations Saturday.
