Tired of Being Tired? Kick the Sugar Addiction & Join the Challenge

What's really happening in the body when we try to nourish ourselves with additives that do anything but nourish us? Check out the blog post to support your health & nutrition goals!

Whether it be real or artificial sugar, the effects on the brain and the body tell the tale.

Why do we continue the vicious cycle of blood sugar ups and down, coffee & nicotine, Coke in the afternoon & wine at night, the list continues...  It's simple, our society as a whole hasn't been educated on what is really happening in the body when we try to nourish ourselves with additives that do anything but nourish us.  We've also learned to disconnect our body and our brain.  Mindful eating is a muscle that has to be developed and trained.  If we use these substances to disconnect, we never cultivate a state of well being within the body.  But, is that way of being (on a constant sugar roller coaster) really serving you? Imagine what it does to your energy levels, sleep and your mood. I venture to guess this roller coaster is not serving you well!

Where do you start?  I welcome you to join a 30-Day Kick the Sugar Challenge.  Have you ever wondered what I really do in working with my clients?  Jump in to this teleclass series for four weeks and you'll soon find out.  When clients are truly ready to make lifestyle changes, in that moment of, "I've had enough!" - the doors of their mind blow wide open to a different way of looking at nutrition & health. My approach is truly different.  We aren't counting calories (how stressful and limiting!), we aren't weighing food (your bathroom scale would not be too sanitary!) and we are definitely not trying to translate food in to points.  My clients adopt nutrition & lifestyle changes because they are approachable, whole-food based, understandable and easily adoptable. Hint: It's not just about the food, but your relationship with food.  Join us to learn more on this topic.

What other areas of nutrition will we cover?  Great question and I have some short & sweet answers.  We already discussed mindful eating, but we'll also delve in to good carbohydrates, learn to drop any fear of healthy carbs and let go of old ways of thinking around other foods. Give it a try and I can't wait to hear what program participants have to say afterward!
