Want to Go Green? There's An App—Err, Newsletter for That

Montgomery County government will begin producing a monthly e-newsletter called "Green Montgomery."

Recycling, composting, installing solar panels, not being an energy hog. There are tons of suggestions thrown out from everywhere on what you should be doing to reduce your carbon footprint. 

What's actually important for you to do, given where you live, is another story. 

Enter Your Green Montgomery, a "monthly publication about how to live a green life," produced by the Montgomery County Department of Environmental protection.

Expect an events calendar, an idea of the month and three articles on "environmental, recreation, social and health topics," according to a county government release publicizing the addition.
