NAMI-MC 14th Annual Fundraising Event - Heroes Gala

On Saturday, November 9, 2013, the Montgomery County
Affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness(NAMI) is holding our 14th
Annual Heroes Celebration. On this occasion we honor leaders in the field of
mental health, several well-known figures in the metropolitan area, as well as
our deserving volunteers. We host over 200 members and supporters of NAMI MC, as
well as members of the media, the community, and government leaders.  This
years Gala will be held at the Bethesda, Marriott - Pooks Hill, it is from
6pm-10pm (Open to the public).



We will be honoring Congressman Chris Van Hollen, Arthur Wallenstein Exec. Dir.
of Correction & Rehabilitation - MoCo and Former County Exec. Doug
Duncan.  There will be a full course dinner, live entertainment, silent
auction, live auction and dancing.  Our MC for the evening is Channel 9
Reporter Bruce Leshan.  Tickets are $100pp. Proceeds benefit NAMI-MC
countywide Free programs to all those affected by mental illness and their families.
