Historic Brainard Warner Mansion Celebration of a Milestone on the Road to Rehabilitation

Please Join Montgomery Parks and the Kensington Historical Society for A Community Celebration at the Historic Brainard Warner Mansion

Celebrate the rehabilitation of this historic house which recently had two non-historic wings removed and replaced with walls that are inspired by 1914 alteration plans for the house. 

Montgomery Parks, with the ongoing support of the Kensington Historical Society and community leaders, has been working to rehabilitate the 1891 Historic Brainard Warner House for many years.

The former home of Kensington founder, Brainard Warner was acquired by the Parks Department in 2005. Today it is listed in the Montgomery County Master Plan for Historic Preservation.
