Yard sale, silent auction, and Potluck - FREE!

Find out what's happening in Kensingtonwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

All
profits go to the KHCA Legal Defense Fund to continue our opposition to the proposed Costco mega gas station at Westfield Wheaton.

Gas
Station Certificates Raffle:
Several
local gas stations have donated gift certificates in varying amounts (up to
$100)! We will hold a raffle and award the certificates at the same time we end
the silent auction at 8:30 pm.  Someone
holding your lucky ticket needs to present for you to win.  And the best thing is, even Costco can’t beat
those prices if you get picked!  $2 per
entry; 3 for $5.

Silent
Auction:
We
will have very special items available for silent auction (see an initial
listing below).  Each item will have a
minimum bid – after you sign up, you just check back to see if you’ve been
outbid, and bid again – just like on Ebay.
And, like on Ebay, if you can’t bear the thought of someone else getting
the item, we’ll have “Buy It Now” prices too!
The cut-off for all bids will be at 8:30 pm during the Dance Party, so
be sure to be there so you can make the high bid and claim that must-have item
that night.  (All payments must be made
at the end of the bidding.)  For more
details, contact Karen Cordry (karenc425@aol.com).
