13th Annual Mid-Atlantic Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Workshop

At this free event, four physicians will speak and answer questions about thyroid cancer testing, treatment, and followup. They include 2 endocrinologists, a surgeon, and a nuclear medicine specialist, from the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and Washington Hospital Center. The day also includes survivor-caregiver peer support roundtables, plus sessions on coping skills. The event is sponsored by the nonprofit ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association, Inc. Everyone interested in thyroid cancer is invited to attend for all or part of the day.
