What happened in Kensington this week?

News: The Kensington Volunteer Fire Department and launched a to allow citizens to express their support for the monument and those it honors.

Sports:  According to various online media accounts, Einstein high head football coach Mike Bonavia will be leaving to become the new head coach at Sherwood, Patch reported. Meanwhile, Staff won the day once again in Newport Mill's annual Staff vs. Students basketball game; while evening honors went to the Newport Mill Girls Basketball Team for their history-making undefeated season.

Police and Fire: A residential burglary took place overnight March 24-25 in the 3400 block of University Boulevard. Suspects entered the home by an unknown means and property was taken from the home.

Arts: A new art gallery, the Howard Avenue Arts Incubator, debuted with its first photography exhibition “.” The gallery is located on the top floor of the Gary Rosenthal Collection.  Patch was there to capture opening night.
