Week Ahead: Kensington July 22-July 26

What's going on? Who's doing what? What matters in Kensington this week.

Welcome to the week of July 22, Kensington! With all the information swirling around the Interweb these days, Patch decided to bring you “The Week Ahead,” each Monday. Think of it as a primer for the week.

Don’t forget your umbrella: It’s going to be a rainy couple of days in Kensington. Expect muggy temps in the high-80s and a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms today and Tuesday. The chance of thunderstorms may decrease by Wednesday, but don’t hold your breath.

Eat at BlackFinn, help people get housing: Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County is hosting a fundraiser at the Bethesda-eatery on Tuesday, July 23. How it works is you ask to sit in the dining room and the restaurant donates 15 percent of your meal price to the charity, which builds homes for people in need.
