Upcoming at the Strathmore

Check out what events the Strathmore has to offer this week.

March 25:

Naturally 7 is a seven member a capella group that can create a variety of instrumental sounds such as drums, horns and synthesizers.

March 26:

The BSO will perform Grieg’s Piano Concerto under the conduction of Yan Pascal Tortelier and alongside featured pianist, Orion Weiss. 

March 27:

For its Strathmore debut, Imago Theatre presents ZooZoo. The show (which runs a little more than an hour excluding intermission) features people performing as giant anteaters, dinosaurs, hippos, polar bears and more.

March 28: American Youth Philharmonic

The Youth Philharmonic will perform Philip Glass's "Concerto for Two Timpani and Orchestra" and Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade." Doug Wallace and Jonathan Rance perform on the timpani. Children ages 18 and under can attend for free under the Comps for Kids campaign.

March 29 and 30: Vegetarian Tea

After many requests, the Strathmore will serve vegetarian tea for this week's specialty tea feature. In addition to the Strathmore blend tea, organic and herbal tea will be served with a light vegetarian fare.

March 31: David Sedaris

Best-selling author and satirist David Sedaris (perhaps best known for his NPR commentary) will perform to a sold out crowd at the Strathmore.
