Storm Today, Heat All Week

According to the National Weather Service, you've got two things to look out for this week.

First, today, there's a chance of severe thunderstorms in the afternoon, producing dangerous wind gusts in the area.

Then, for the rest of the week, the combination of high temperatures and high humidity will create heat indices well over 100 degrees.
