Report: Graphic Photos of Missing Woman Found on Giordano's Camera

PEOPLE magazine cited a source who said the photos are "beyond pornographic."

PEOPLE Magazine is reporting that graphic photographs of Robyn Gardner, the  missing in Aruba, have been discovered on the camera of the Gaithersburg man held in connection with her disappearance.

Monday, 50-year-old  was ordered held on the island for an  Gardner was last seen in Aruba Aug. 2, when Giordano, her traveling companion, reported to Aruban authorities that she had disappeared while the two were snorkeling.

Since then, allegations of domestic violence have surfaced against Giordano, and people close to Gardner, including her boyfriend Richard Forester, have raised doubts about Giordano’s story.

The AP reported Giordano attempted to claim the insurance money two days after Gardner went missing.

Few details were available on the photos discovered on Giordano’s camera, PEOPLE reported.  However, a source told PEOPLE the photos are "beyond pornographic." PEOPLE also quoted Julia Renfro, editor-in-chief of Aruba’s English language daily Aruba Today, who said, “You don't know if she is awake. There are other pictures where she is posing naked."

Forester told PEOPLE he didn't believe Gardner would consent to the photos. "This wasn't a part of our life. Ever," Forester told PEOPLE. "We already know he has a long history of this sort of behavior with women. Robyn would never consent to this."

ABC also reported that blood was found behind the restaurant where Giordano and Gardner were last seen together, and that Giordano told authorities Gardner had been drinking vodka and taking sleeping pills. Before he was arrested as he was attempting to leave the island, Giordano told customs officials his traveling companion was “taking another flight,” according to ABC.

Several media outlets have drawn connections between the case and the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, also in Aruba. The Washington, D.C.-based Natalee Holloway Resource Center has established a confidential tip line in the case. That number is 407-237-2295.
