It's Not the Heat, Wait, It's the Heat

Intense summer heat continues this weekend and temperatures are expected to reach above 100 in Kensington, according to the National Weather Service.

"The core of the heat wave will lie over the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic states," it said in a statement.

Overnight lows were expected to remain above 80.

However, there are signs that a break is coming, with a cold front pushing east from the upper Great Lakes.

That could mean thundershowers.
