According to her former owner, Festiva likes to be held, carried, brushed, and sit on your lap. She’s affectionate and OK around the other pets in the house — a pet rat, hedgehog, dogs and cats. And she’s good with kids. What a sweetie!

If you’re interested in adopting Festiva, contact the , 14645 Rothgeb Drive in Rockville. Visit with the animals noon to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and Thursday and Friday; or noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Humane Society is closed Wednesday. Call 240-773-5960 or go to MCHumane.org.
