Hazardous Weather Warning for Montgomery County

National Weather Service warns of snowfall, slick roads.

Snowfall could lead to slick roads and dangerous conditions in Montgomery County this evening, the National Weather Service warns.

The snow is already falling in the western part of the county, and NWS has a winter storm warning in effect through the night. The organization is urging drivers to be cautious on the way home this evening, as roads may be hazardous at rush hour.

Weather.com predicts that there will be no significant snow accumulations in Montgomery and that snowfall should taper off by the late afternoon.

I know the NWS in Sterling is incompetent but I don't think even they had a winter storm warning in effect on Tuesday for Montgomery County. A winter weather advisory would have been more in line with what should have been issued.
