Bethesda is home to one less politico now that former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has sold his home for nearly $1 million, The Washington Post’s The Reliable Source column reported.

Geithner, who moved to the DC suburbs from the suburbs of New York City in 2009 to advise President Barack Obama on a downtrodden economy, left the administration in January. The four-bedroom home of Geithner and his wife, Carole, located at 5709 Ogden Road, sold for $995,000—about $45,000 more than what they paid for it in 2009, CurbedDC reported.
