Happy Wednesday, Kensingtonians. Here are a few bits of knowledge to keep in mind today.

1. Grab your umbrella on the way out this morning, because there's a chance of thunderstorms and showers all day, with a 50 percent chance of precipitation.  The high will be around 89 with a low of 73 tonight.

2. Montgomery County Police  yesterday in connection with January's holdup at . The suspect, 26-year-old Koda Squalls of Greenbelt, is charged with armed robbery and is being held on $15,000 bond.

3. Last night, State Sen. Rich Madaleno and delegates Al Carr, Ana Sol Gutiérrez and Jeff Waldstreicher hosted a town hall for District 18 residents to voice their concerns, give their feedback and ask questions. Stay tuned to Kensington Patch for full coverage of the event.
