A possible charter school, ideas for the weekend and a day devoted to chocolate.

  1. We're set for another cloudy day, with a high near 92 and a low of about 72. There may be scattered storms throughout the day, and it's likely to rain tonight.
  2. Tonight, the Board of Education will vote on whether to allow Crossway Community Inc.'s Montessori school to become the county's first charter school. The board denied Crossway's previous request, but outgoing superintendent Jerry Weast  before he left office. Stay tuned to Patch for a full preview of the meeting and coverage after the vote.
