If you head to the beach on Labor Day weekend, you could be missing out on some big shopping deals. With the change of seasons on the horizon, there are markdowns on summer items and previews of fall collections in addition to holiday sales.

According to a report from FOX Business, shoppers can also find bargains this time of year on major appliances.

Best Buy has advertised deals that run through Sept. 7 on iPhones, televisions and major appliances (save up to 30 percent). Best Buy has locations in Wheaton and Rockville so check your local ad online to see what else is on sale.

White Flint Mall is the place to go if you're looking to cash in on Labor Day deals for clothing, shoes and accessories. You could also check out Westfield Montgomery in Bethesda, Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg, Westfield Wheaton.
