Kensington Celebrates Third Thursday
Businesses stay open late for the town's monthly event.
Tonight, Kensington will again , with Old Town businesses staying open to offer deals and host events.
From 5 to 8 p.m., you can duel with a chessmaster, save money on dinner, hear live poetry and score a free cupcake. Here are a few of the deals and events available:
- is hosting chess master Allan Savage, who will battle multiple opponents at the same time. Feel free to drop in any time between 5 and 8 p.m. to play a game against Savage.
- will host an from 6 to 8 p.m., inviting one and all to take the stage and show off their talents.
- is offering a free cupcake with each $5 purchase.
- Frankly ... Pizza will be on hand, serving fresh-baked pizza on the street.
