Kensington Businessman Rings Closing Bell at NY Stock Exchange

Andi Koskoris wrote an essay about his work experience to earn a spot on a two-day trip to celebrate Federal Realty's 50th anniversary.

Kensington native and Federal Realty employee Andi Koskoris was chosen to ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Monday in celebration of his company's 50th anniversary.

Employees were asked to write an essay about their work experience with the company, and those who contributed were invited to go to New York City to participate in a two-day celebration that culminated with the ringing of the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

Federal Realty (or "FRT") owns retail property up and down the East Coast, with about 19.2 million square feet in its non-joint venture portfolio and nearly 94 percent of its business directed toward local, regional and national retailers.
